Gods

We are currently in the Age of Leorn which will be noted on the calendar as the Great Rebirth (GR). A time when new gods are coming forth and staking their claim in the new pantheon.

Leorn

Leorn

King of the Gods

A tale of a woman scorned. Before this god was born his mother tore him from her own womb and tossed into the blackness of nothing. Only to be found millennia later by an ancient lich, and brought to full term using an artifact known as the soul monger. After finally becoming a full being the creature who now called itself Leorn began, seeking and consuming souls from any that dare cross him starting with those unfortunate enough to cross his path. It wasn't until he ventured into the city of Vrule the capital of Shidram where he was finally discovered. In an attempt to stop what they thought was a mere murderer. The entire city guard came down upon him unknowing what they were going up against. In a tragic attempt to stop the god the entire city and its population were consumed one at a time by the deity. That is when he decided to start his rampage upon the entire world. Once he destroyed the old gods he decided to create a world of gods that would be active in the lives of their followers and not just sit idly by unknowing of the happenings in their own world.

He is currently searching for gods to fill the old and new portfolios. As for followers, he only cares to have the strongest of souls for stagnation and contentedness are not states he cares for.

  • You must always move toward a more evolved state.
  • Stagnation must be removed so that progress can be made.
  • Let your prowess show through your actions, not your words.
Relic

Relic

Freedom/Humans

Relic was once an old god. Centuries ago, in a bid to protect her followers from a great cataclysm, she raised the city of Faeris from stone. Doing so caused much of her power to be sealed away within the city itself. A couple hundred years ago, Relic was petrified, sending Faeris and any of her followers within Faeris into a state of stasis. She was killed when her breastplate, sword, and dagger were removed from her petrified body and her body was broken.
When the black wave was released, Relic’s soul was reformed inside of her items. The brave adventurers – Thorn, Red, Leaf, Bellatore, and Rhee brought Relic’s items to Faeris. She negotiated with Leorn, and was reformed into a god. Relic has 5 Knight’s currently – Bellatore, Leaf, Rhee, Red, and Titus, with one unclaimed mantle of Knighthood. Relic serves as Leorn’s second on the pantheon of gods.

He remained in the form he had taken, an Arcanaloth, to honor his final task as an avatar. After finding the ancient text he pursued, he adopted a new name and set off to build a vast library of collected texts and inspire new scholarship.

  • Death is just a part of life - and it must be accepted and implemented at the proper time.

Vaskog
Vaskog

He vehemently sought out those who would come to take without care. Whether that be deforesting to create cities or hunting animals to near extinction for mere sport. He would seek out any he thought intruders, staking them to trees along the outer edge of his forests as a warning to those who would dare enter his domain. With his swath of followers, he would seek out those who infringed upon his forests, tearing apart entire towns to find a single man in some cases.

In the end, Ro was invited to the tyrants quarters to talk peace and settled on a peace treaty, giving more power to the people and less to those in high power. As blood was pouring out of his neck, Ro transcended to godhood as a deity of change and chaos, the two things he could ever offer.

Yeenalath
Yeenalath

Hunting, Loyalty

Yeenalath was the matriarch of a small clan when the Wild Hunt tore through the region. The clan joined the hunt and reveled in its bloodshed. The new dawn brought unexpected spoils—the Wild Hunt had freed the clan of Yeenoghu’s influence. This revelation gave her singleminded purpose—claim the Wild Hunt and use it to free all Gnolls. Yeenalath tracked the Huntsman for years, leading an ever-growing clan of Gnolls on a determined quest. Once encountered, she stated her purpose to claim the Wild Hunt and was promptly refused. The Huntsman escaped and Yeenalath led the clan once more, tracking the Huntsman across the planes. The Huntsman grew to fear the clan’s tireless march, and in his exhaustion, the clan descended upon him. Yeenalath consumed his still-wiggling body and gained the mantle of the Wild Hunt. She led many hunts, freeing thousands of Gnolls and earning the ire of Yeenoghu. Her reputation grew among those who relish in the hunt and revolutionaries who band together to overthrow their oppressors.
